Part 14:Ā ENJOY THE FLOWER
Have you ever been captivated by a beautiful flower while walking or driving, only to think about how you might pluck it or plant it at home?
In those moments, we often become so focused on what we can acquire that we overlook the beauty right in front of us.
There’s a famous story about the Buddha lifting a flower during a sermon, leaving everyone wondering about its hidden meaning—except for one monk, Mahakashyapa, who simply smiled and found enlightenment.
This reminds us to pause and truly enjoy the flower for what it is, rather than thinking about how it might enhance our lives.
Embracing this perspective helps us stay present and appreciate the world around us.
